BOILER OPERATOR - Minneapolis, MN

• Perform start-up, shutdown and normal operation of the Boiler which includes routine checks, chemical analysis and adjustments, and the operation of the boiler on all fuel sources.
• Complete log entries of the machine and other necessary reports.
• Problem solves when issues with the machine and support equipment arise.
• Make starch for use by the Corrugator.
• Operate the wastewater system.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed as Boiler First Class Engineer Grade B or above.
• Experience in operation and basic maintenance for Boilers
• Strong safety background and good attendance record.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including overtime and weekends.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and be good communicator.

Licensed as Boiler Chief Engineer Grade B or above.
